Barbara Jean Showah

Memorial Services for Mrs. Barbara Showah, 77 of Leland, MS who passed away on August 27th, 2025 at her home will be held on Tuesday September 2 at 2 p.m. at Ephesas SDA of Greenville. Interment will be in Henry, IL at a later date. Rev. Daniel Bennett will be officiating.
Barbara Showah was born to Clifford and Civilla Carrier in Pekin, IL on June 1st, 1948. She moved from Austin, TX and has been a resident of Greenville for 31 years. She was an LPN by trade for many years in Greenville.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her son: Gary Dean Eigenbrod, as well as a brother: Stuart Carrier.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband: John Showah of Leland, four children: Angel Highsmith (Willie) of Mendota, IL, Dawn Monti (Tony) of Wenona, IL, Wendy Buxton (Steve) of Fort Worth, TX and Timmothy Eigenbrod, four siblings: Lora Hodge of Leland, Christine Horton (William) of Madison, TX, Craig Carrier of Kirksville, MO, and Dennis Carrier (Pam) also of Joplin. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
