Beverly Ellen Showah passed away on April 24, 2025 at the age of 82 after battling Dementia. Born in Salem, Massachusetts to parents Paul and Elizabeth Trull, her father was in Europe serving during WWII in the US Army at the beginning of her life. She had kept a close relationship with her mother and into adulthood. She would later become a dedicated elementary school teacher, and remained a teacher until retirement. She moved to Arizona with her family in the 80’s, where she found a new community that she would embrace. Beverly dedicated her time and energy to her own family, her Orthodox Church parish family, to many friends, as well as animals, and being a child advocate. When her granddaughter was born, she focused on being the greatest Nana.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sam, and brothers Paul Thomas (“Tommy”)Trull, and Donald Trull.
Survived by daughter Lisa (Robert) Lichter, granddaughter Amira Lichter, nieces and nephews Albert (Dawn) Gramesty, Gregory Gramesty, Matthew (Cheryl) Berry, Rachel (Doug) Gross, Jonathan (Alisa) Berry, Kristen Trull, Laura Trull, sister-in-law Diane Trull, best friend forever Mim Sprague, Godsons Jared and Caleb Blackwell, and Cocoa her little dog.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, or an animal shelter of your choosing.
Visitation at 9 a.m. with Funeral Service at 10 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4530 E Gold Dust Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85028. Burial to follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
