Barbara Smith

Barbara Smith, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on

November 16, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on July

9, 1941, in Vernon, Texas, to Floyd and Mossie Littlejohn.

Barbara lived a life full of joy and adventure. She loved traveling, bowling, playing bingo,

and cheering loudly for her favorite team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, but her greatest

joy came from spending time with her family and friends while sharing stories and

meals. Barbara's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched everyone who knew her, and her

laughter could light up any room.

She is survived by her brother Lester, sister-in-law Carol, daughter Katherine, son

William, daughter-in-law Kelly, grandchildren Christopher, Jarred, and Lindsay, great-

grandson Walker, and her nieces Shannon, Kimberley, Brooksie, and Amanda, all of

whom share cherished memories with her. Barbara was preceded in death by her

devoted husband, Thomas Smith, with whom she shared many wonderful years. Her

legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Buchanan Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 19, from

4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at the same location on Thursday,

November 20, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara's

remarkable life and the love she gave so freely.
