Barbara Spoonhour Obituary
Barbara Spoonhour, 62, of Shippensburg, PA passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at her residence. Born December 26, 1962 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John Wilson and Kathleen Lilly (Thomas) Spoonhour, Sr.
Barb loved to spend time with her family, go for walks, watch movies and cartoons, play pool and cards, and listen to music. She also loved to go on rides at Christmas time and see all the lights.
Barb is survived by her daughters, Stacy Spoonhour of Shippensburg, Ashley Flora of Pittsburgh, Michael Amanda Flora of Shippensburg; eleven grandchildren, Natalia Spoonhour-Scott of Shippensburg, Nishaun Spoonhour of Shippensburg, A’nya, Ava, A’layiah, Najalin, and Joshua George, Jr. of Chambersburg, Michael and Aubree Shaffer of Chambersburg, Kenzie Selvey of Pittsburgh and Kameron Selvey of Chambersburg, one great-grandson, Amari Spoonhour-Scott of Shippensburg; five brothers and sisters, John and his wife Jean (Buryk) Spoonhour, Jr. of Chambersburg, Roxanne (Spoonhour) and her husband Harold Hockenberry of Pond Bank, Harold and his wife Susan (Hockenberry) Spoonhour of Pond Bank, Travis and his wife Karen (Koons) Spoonhour of State Line and Barry Spoonhour of Mahanoy City.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents Kathleen and John Spoonhour Sr., and her brother, William R. Spoonhour.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Barbara on Saturday April 5, 2025. You can contact Stacy Spoonhour for the time and directions if you are interested in sharing this time with the family.
