Barbara Stacey Obituary
Born on February 16, 1944, in East Liverpool, Barbara was the daughter of the late Edwin Walter Hager and Edna Bell Wright Hager. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clark Hager Sr. and Bill Stoddard; her sisters, Katie James, Hazel Adkins, Edna Hebron, Dorothy Lemasters, Harriet Slagle, Betty Lou Hager, and Ella Mae Carter; and her niece, Tonnie Slagle.
Barbara attended East Liverpool High School and was a member of Boyce Methodist Church in East Liverpool. She enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines, but above all, she cherished spending time with her family, whom she loved deeply.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Bruce E. Stacey (Mindy) of Lisbon and Randall S. Stacey (Christy) of East Liverpool; her grandson, Bruce E. Stacey II (Emily) of Canton; her great-grandson, Theodore J. Stacey of Canton; her brothers, Ed Hager (Sue), Dave Hager (Carolyn), Jim Hager, and Joe Hager (Georgia); along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her ex-husband and lifelong companion, Perry Hull.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Arner Funeral Chapel, with Joel Adkins officiating. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Barbara, please visit our floral store.
