Barbara Jean (Russell) Stegal
Barbara Jean (Russell) Stegal, age 82 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior at Monday, July 1, 2024 at her residence.
Barbara was born May 11, 1942, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Richard and Nancy (Ross) Russell. She grew up and received her education in Tahlequah and graduated from Oaks-Mission High School in 1959 and attended some college classes in Tulsa after high school. On March 27, 1969, Barbara married Bill Jackson Stegal in Tulsa where they made their home until moving to Skiatook in 1974. She was employed with Skiatook Nursing Home the last 18 years. She was a member of Ascension Church Skiatook. Barbara enjoyed garage sales, crossword puzzles, basketball, and spending time with family. She really loved having all her grandkids over making memories.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Bill, parents: Richard and Nancy, and nine siblings.
Barbara is survived by her children: Brian Eddie Russell, Tricia Lynn Myers, Russell James Stegall, Michael Todd Stegal, brother: Jack Russell, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Barbara Stegal entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
