Barbara "Purvis" Still

Barbara Purvis Still, 87, of Summerville, SC formerly of Blackville, SC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with Dr. Thomas Terry officiating. The family will receive friends from twelve-thirty p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given in Mrs. Barbara's memory to the Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.

Born in Cayce, SC, she was married to the late Henry Nickolas Still, Sr. for 32 years. Mrs. Barbara was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church for many years. She previously worked in medical billing at the hospital and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her children, Janice (Kevin) Souser of Summerville, SC, Henry "Nick" (Karen) Still, Jr. of Barnwell, SC, Ashley Gust of Milton, FL, and Robin Still of Summerville, SC; a number of grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Till Haltiwanger.
