Born April 12, 1939 in Delaware, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Johnson & Ruby Smith. When Barbara was 9 years old, she contracted Polio, and had to teach herself how to walk and talk again.
Barbara enjoyed watching her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed walking on her treadmill.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Phil (Teresa) Thompson and Charles "Bub" (Pamela) Sullivan; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren; sisters Betty Brown and Ruby Seibert; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her ex-husband and father of two of her children Charles Albert Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and a son Edward Sullivan.
A Celebration of Life services will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Westfield Community Church, 880 County Road 21, Ashley, Ohio 43003
