Barbara "Barb" Teel

Barbara J. Teel, 78, of Winona Lake, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, in her residence following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Barb was born April 13, 1945, in Warsaw, Indiana, the daughter of Robert E. and H. Juanita (Fawley) Delp. She was united in marriage to James D. Teel on September 16, 1972, in Winona Lake, Indiana.
Barb was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School Class of 1963. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for the high school and was the receptionist for Dr. Moser's medical office. She spent many years as a homemaker. Barb enjoyed antiquing, walking on Fort Myers beach, road trips from town to town, and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and her husband Jim attends WCC.
Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim Teel, of Winona Lake, daughters Kim (Marvin) Hensley, Warsaw, Jamie (Chris) Plack, Warsaw, Kirstin (Bob) Forney, of Cromwell, Casey Guzman, Mishawaka, and sons David (Shellie) Miller, of Warsaw, Doug (Pat) Miller, of Holiday, Florida, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and her brother David (Carole) Delp, of Winona Lake. She was preceded in passing by her parents.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on January 17th, 2024, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Barb's life will begin at 1:00 PM on January 17, 2024, with Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
