Barbara Elizabeth Thornton

Barbara Elizabeth Hall Thornton, born November 21, 1939, in Pensacola Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Thelma Hall, sister, Lucy Johnson, brother, Tommy Hall, and nephew Randy Hall.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Keelie Sekerka, (Robert); Grandsons, Joshua Franklin, (Emily) and James Franklin, (Kim). Great-grandson's, Eli, Gavin, Maverick, and Kevin. Great-granddaughters, Olivia and Ziva. Nieces, Teresa, Laura, Lorissa and Kimberly, Nephews, Ricky, Larry, Harold, and Charles. Many Great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barbara had the honor of working for Joe Oldmixon, Bonnie Jones, and David Stafford, Escambia County Supervisor of Elections, from 1985 until retiring in 2006.
Barbara had many talents, her most memorable was her love to crochet. Her crochet would bless many lives as she blessed everything, she made unto whom she would bless from family and friends to hospitals and homeless. Barbara was a God-Fearing woman and shared her gift with many.
A funeral service will be held, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Pensacola Memorable Gardens.
Family Visitation will be from 9:00 am and Friend Visitation will be 9:30 am, followed with graveside service after Chapel Service.
