Barbara Kay Vancura (70) a resident of Silver Springs, Florida was born on July 11, 1952, in Star City, West Virginia and passed away on January 1, 2023, in Ocala, Florida.
She was a gifted artist creating exquisite paintings, Faberge eggs, golden leaf trees and many other unique pieces that she loved to give to family and friends. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family and friends, always putting them ahead of herself. Her smile would lift anyone up. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Barbara was predeceased in death by her beloved husband of 47 years Ronnie Lee Vancura; her parents, Herbert (Bud) and Pauline Jackson. She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Melissa) Vancura; sister, Darlene (Kurt) Vancura; Grandchildren, Evan and Falan Vancura; nieces, Amanda (Jay) Mason, Danielle (Dan) Fennema; great nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Amelia and Jay Mason, Cody and Lucas Collins, Olivia and Morgan Fennema.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
