Barbara A. Vollmers

Barbara A. Vollmers, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, in Calverton, NY, at the age of 79. Born on August 30, 1945, in Miami, FL, Barbara lived a life filled with love, dedication, and joy, leaving a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Barbara was the devoted wife of Werner Vollmers. Together, they built a remarkable life filled with warmth and togetherness. Her nurturing spirit extended to her children; she was a devoted mother to Joanne (Timothy) Paetz, Gregory Vollmers (his fiancé Merlina Wakely), Michelle (Jim) Hipperlink and Jill Seus. Barbara also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Each member of her family held a special place in her heart, and she was their steadfast supporter and confidante.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney and Norma Miller, who instilled in her values that she carried throughout her life. 

Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by her family and friends. Barbara A. Vollmers will be remembered for her unwavering love and kindness that shaped the lives of those around her. She touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed.
