Barbara Sue Woltz Walden (66) passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at home in Booneville. She attended Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her fur babies, camping, traveling and working in her yard and flowers as long as she was able. She enjoyed crafting and crocheting. She worked as a secretary and as a florist. Barbara graduated John Glenn High School in New Concord, OH.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronnie Hugh Walden of Booneville; her sons, David Walden (Bridget) of Advance, NC and Daniel Walden (Susan) of Clemmons, NC; her daughter, Janet Ray (James) of Indianola, MS; her mother, Jan Woltz of Cambridge, OH; her brothers, Dale Woltz of Cambridge, OH and Jay Woltz (Jean) of Cambridge, OH; her brother-in-law, Michael D. Walden of Booneville, MS; her sister-in-law, Sherry Lambert (Ricky) of Booneville, MS; her best friend, Darlene Heade; her godchildren, Kenny Roreck (Corianne) and Nichole Runner (Dan); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard "Dick" Woltz; her sister, Jude Cornelius; and by both sets of grandparents.

Visitation will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12PM-1PM with the service starting at 1PM.
