Barbara Caulder White, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. Born on August 30, 1947, in McKinney, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Ernest and Mary Maxine Anderson Caulder.
Barbara was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Teal's Mill. Her professional journey included a successful tenure at Bo Buck Mills in Chesterfield, SC, followed by her service as a substitute teacher, where she enjoyed nurturing young minds.
A passionate individual, Barbara found joy in photography and frequented the Bargain Basket in Cheraw. However, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family, particularly her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, listed above, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Donna McLeod.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Clyde White, Jr. (Alisha) of Rock Hill, SC, and Scott White (Susan Sellers) of Chesterfield, SC; a daughter Kim White Perhealth (Billy) of Wallace, SC; brothers, Randy Caulder (Terrie) of Cheraw, SC, and David Caulder (Janet) of Chesterfield, SC; and sister, Carolyn Winslow (Eulion) of Kings Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Christian, Lacey, Austin, Avery, Olivia, Aiden; and great-grandchildren, Macyn, Harper, Sadie, Teagen, Camila, and Natalie.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.
Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, 711 Chesterfield Hwy., Cheraw, SC 29520.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the White family in their time of loss.
