Barbara White Obituary
She was born April 25, 1932 in Tokyo, Japan, a daughter of the late Kozo Makino and Michi Makino. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and was a retired Budget Analyst for the Department of Defense.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Neil K. White and his wife, Dominique of Elkridge, MD; one daughter, Dr. Brenda Elliott and her husband, Fred of Altavista; three grandchildren, Travis Elliott (Brittany), and Erica and Evan White; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Cooper Elliott; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kazuhiro Makino; and a grandson, Eric White.
A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2026 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032.
The family will be receiving friends beginning at 4:00 p.m.
