It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hannah White, age 89, who departed this world on February 12, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Milford, Ohio. Born on October 26, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Hannah lived a life rich in love, compassion, and service to her community.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children William H. White III (Barb) and Robert J. White (Marcia), as well as her cherished grandchildren, including William H. White IV (Robyn), Joseph White (Emily), Jonathan M. White (Kari), Samantha Malott (Ty), Christopher White (Haley), Travis White (Karsen), Seth White (Megan), Vincent White (Chelsea), Emily Roberts (Tim), Krista Cornellius (Josh), and Zach Cornellius (Lindsey). She also leaves behind 25 great-grandchildren who will carry her legacy of kindness forward. Hannah is also survived by a treasured sister, Charlotte Suniega.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mildred; her twin brother, Oscar; her sisters, Edith and Katie, and her brother Harry.
A passionate advocate for animals, Hannah played a pivotal role in starting the Cincinnati Nature Center and took on the responsibility of overseeing the Clermont County Animal Shelter. Her service to the community extended to her time as First Lady of Milford in the 1960s-a role she embraced with grace and dedication. Hannah had a deep appreciation for art and a fascination with fossils, passions that brought joy to her life and the lives of those around her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Hannah's life at a funeral service to be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, located at 741 Center Street. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
