Deborah Kay Chambers, (64) a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, from stage 4 Ovarian cancer on February 12, 2026. Born on January 29, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio Debbie made her home in Milford, Ohio where she nurtured countless relationships that left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
A proud graduate of Anderson High School, Debbie was known not only for her academic accomplishments but also for her athletic prowess. She was a standout softball player and lived her life with the spirit of an athlete-passionate, dedicated, and always striving to be the best version of herself. Debbie's joy was derived from her fierce commitment to family and community.
Debbie excelled in her professional life as the showroom manager at Recreations Outlet, where she took great pride in her work and the connections she forged with both customers and colleagues. Her warmth and unyielding compassion transformed the workplace into a welcoming environment where everyone felt like family.
She possessed a remarkable gift for making holidays and special occasions unforgettable, filling homes with laughter and love. She was a woman who never knew a stranger, touching the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. However, nothing brought Debbie more joy than her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren-Xander, Oliver, Theo, Harper, Ellie, and Quinn-were her pride and joy, and she delighted in every moment spent with them.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve Chambers; her son, Stevie Chambers and his wife Amanda; her daughter, Allison Chambers and her partner Michael Griffith; her sister, Julie Ferrell and her husband JD; her mother, Beverly Ann Bare and her husband Gene; her brother, Mike Pierce and his wife Brenda; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews Jake, Josh, Jessica, Bailey, Brandy, Amanda, Jimmy, Rachel and Chris who loved her dearly and her fur buddy Zeus. Debbie was preceded in death by: her father Kenneth Edward Pierce.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on February 22, 2026, from 2-4 PM.
