She continued her service to the community as the board secretary for the Board of Trustees of Woodlawn and Pinewood Cemeteries. Barbara was also the first woman president of the Nashua Lions Club. She touched countless lives over the years and she will fondly be remembered, cherished and missed by all.

Barbara is survived by her dear daughter, Deborah Lynch and her husband Kevin, and her daughter-in-law, Sandra L. (Horne) Whitmore, all of Nashua. She was the proud grandmother to her three grandchildren; Taylor Whitmore of Nashua, Adam Lee and his wife Crystal of Salem, NH and Kevin Lynch and his wife Maureen of Greer, SC, and great grandmother to Grace Helen Lee. Barbara is also survived by her brother, Francis Wojtowicz and his wife Susan of Dracut, MA and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Whitmore Sr., with whom she shared 33 years of marriage together before his passing in 1995, her son Carl E. Whitmore Jr, in 2018 and several siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10 AM, 216 East Dunstable Rd, Nashua. Friends and family are cordially invited to meet directly at the church.
