Ms. Barbara Ann Williams of Tampa, FL departed this life on Monday, January 20, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Elder Steven Sorrells, Officiating. The Interment will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Barbara Ann Williams, also known as "Baby B" was born on July 23, 1958, in Tampa, FL to the late Eddie Williams and Lucy Brookter. She was an advent track star at Monroe Junior High School and graduated from Robinson High School in Tampa, FL. She birthed her only child, Joyce Kenya Owes in 1977 on March 10th.
Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed helping raise her nieces and nephews. She was known for her homemade pancakes and baked pig's feet. She was the reminder of everyone's birthday in the family. She enjoyed reading the Bible, talking about the word of God, listening to gospel/Christian music and creating art.
She is preceded in death by: her mother, Lucy K Brookter; and brother, David E. Williams.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Joyce Kenya Owes; brothers, Eddie Williams Sr. (Verna), Timothy Williams (Tammy), and Lonnie Koonce; sisters, Mamie Dawson and Carolyn Thomas (William); nieces and nephews, Lashawn Autry, Alicia Beaton, Clarence Dawson, Tiffany Mitchell-Ross, Edward Williams, Tyshawn Kirby, Frenecia Thomas, Jermaine Graham, Deliah Autry, Darius Autry, Derryl Autry, Tria Beaton, Emmanuel Beaton, TJ Williams, Tamia Williams and Genoa Denson; cousin, June Grant; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
