Barbara Wilson

Barbara Ann Wilson Barbara Ann Wilson, 83, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on February 23, 1942, in Albany, New York, to the late Richard and Martha (Palmer) Sitser.
Barbara was married to the love of her life, Lawrence Wilson, on September 26, 1987. Together they shared many years filled with devotion, laughter, and family. Barbara's family was truly her everything, and her greatest joy came from spending time surrounded by those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Martha Bologna, Winifred Demacalgo, Arlene Matera, Rose Wested, Jane Bertrand, Richard Sitser, Joseph Sitser, and Donald Sitser, as well as her sons Richard Dalton and Mark Dalton.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Lawrence Wilson; her children Barbara J. Brewer and her husband Thomas of Glens Falls, NY; Lisa Stockwell and her husband Wyatt of Greenfield Center, NY; Terri Dalton of Greenwich, NY; and James Dalton of Argyle, NY. She is also survived by her stepchildren Larriilyn Stiles and her husband Walt of North Carolina, Randy Wilson of Virginia, and John Wilson of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Thomas J. Brewer, Shannon M. Wright, Sean Dalton, April Fiorino, Lawrence Fiorino, Charles M. O'Neill III, and William O'Neill, and a cherished great-grandmother to Kylie Ladd, Mattison Ladd, Noah Dalton, Amiah Dalton, Nevaeh Dalton, Derek Gladden, Alexander O'Neil and Justin Gladden. Additional survivors include her brother-in-law Gregory Wilson and his wife Sally of Mechanicville, NY, and their son Rory.
Barbara worked for many years in medical supplies with Namic. Outside of work, she had a deep love for crafting of all kinds, including painting, sculpting, and cooking. Her creativity, warmth, and generosity were evident in everything she did, and her home was always a place of comfort and love.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation.
Cremation will take place, with burial to follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Saratoga, New York at 1:30 pm on Monday. Barbara will be remembered for her loving heart, creative spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
