Barbara Brennan Wright

Barbara Wright, 78 of Concord, CA passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered for her grace, kindness, compassion, laughter, witty sense of humor, and unshakable faith and love that touched all those she knew. Barbara lived to serve others and enjoyed sharing stories and her time with the elderly. She was a passionate reader, crossword puzzle enthusiast, and letter writer who left an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. Barbara was predeceased by her parents James and Marie Brennan, brother James Brennan, sister Joan Scheuerman, and Sr. Marie Dismas Brennan, S.S.J. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Alan, son David, daughter-in-law Ingrid and grandchildren Ian and Lily.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass which will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3966 Chestnut Ave., Concord, CA 94519. A private Rite of Committal will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette, CA.
