Barbara Mae Wylie, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 12, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 15, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. Interment will follow at Powder Springs City Cemetery in Powder Springs, Georgia.
Mrs. Wylie was a native of Wailuku, HI and has spent the last sixty years in the Cobb County area. She was of the Christian faith. She was a Veteran of the United States Army, she loved to crochet and donate lap blankets to Wellstar Kennestone Cancer Center for over 10 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: seven children: Debby (Greg) Smith of Powder Springs, GA, Sheila Martin (Larry) Hinderliter of Dunnellon, FL, Scott Martin of Sharpsburg, GA, Greg Wylie of Marietta, GA, Mike (Marie) Wylie of Dallas, GA, Phil (Laura) Wylie of Powder Springs, GA and Sheila (Terry) Earwood of Marietta, GA; sister: Sherry (Allen) Vierra of Pukalani, HI; twelve granchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
