Beverly S. Green

Beverly S. Green, age 95, of Marietta passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. She is survived by her son, Gary, and wife, Sandra, Fairfax, VA; granddaughter, Olivia Green, Fairfax, VA; grandson, Andrew Green, Boston MA; and nephew Larry Stephens, Savannah GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward "Ed" Green in 2019; parents Grace and Grover Sosebee; sister, Barbara Stephens. Beverly retired from Cobb County Board of Education in 1988. She was an active member of Roswell Street Baptist Church for over 70 years. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 17 at 10 AM, with a service at 11AM, both at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Phillip Sullivan officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mission Church Roswell Street at www.missionroswellstreet.com
