Allison Matthew Green Jr.

Allison Matthew Green, Jr., 64, of Church Point, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Allison was born in Crowley, Louisiana on February 10, 1962, to Allison M. Green Sr., and Eva Benjamin. Allison accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA. He was educated in the Acadia Parish School System and later enlisted in the United States Army. Allison was employed with the Town of Church Point for the past 8-years.

Allison was preceded in death by his parents, Allison Matthew Green Sr., and Eva Benjamin; a sister, Thelma Morrison; his paternal grandfather, Cedar Green; maternal grandparents, George and Amanda Benjamin.

Allison leaves to cherish his fond memories, his children, Nathaniel Bates, Franciska Bates, and Cissley Bates (Eaglin); his siblings, Calvin Labbe Sr (Della) and Emma Labbe Filer; his grandchildren, Star'Nae Bates, Lyric Bates, Kylan Moore, Payton Bates, Crystal Bates, Anastasia Byers, Chandlor Byers, Jasmine Byers, and Jaden Bates; his great-grandchild, Carter Henry.

Visiting with family and friends will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Church with Pastor, Father Mark Odoguje, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA
