David Monroe Pitts

It's with a heavy heart that the family of Mr. David Monroe Pitts, 85, a native of Bernice, LA., a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA., and current resident of Jennings, LA., announces his passing. Upon completing his high school education, David enlisted in the United States Army and later received an Honorable Discharge. David was a graduate of Southern University, earning both a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master's Degree. He was later employed by Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA., as a Professor of Industrial Arts.
