Born on January 9, 1972, in Massena, New York, Daniel's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and the great outdoors. A proud graduate of Massena Central School in 1990, Daniel carried the lessons of his youth throughout his life, embodying the values of hard work and dedication. His professional path led him to a rewarding career as a grocery store manager for Hannaford's Grocery store in Maine, where he was respected by colleagues and customers alike for his leadership and kind demeanor.

Daniel's love for nature was evident to all who knew him. He found profound joy in hunting, fishing, and boating, often sharing these passions with his beloved sons. His enthusiasm for remote-controlled cars was contagious, bringing excitement and fun to family gatherings.

A loving father, Daniel is survived by his cherished mother, Lillian Pitts; his devoted sons, Tyler (Katie) Pitts, Dylan Pitts, Zachary Pitts, and Jordan (Sulma) Pitts; his caring sisters, Jodi Condon and Debbie Pitts; and his adored grandchildren, Benjamin and Owen. His father, Daniel Pitts Sr., predeceased him, but the strength and wisdom he inherited from his dad remained a guiding force throughout his life.
