Barney Eugene Bradley, known to family and friends as "Bud" or Barney passed away on February 28, 2026, while in hospice care. Born March 4, 1942, he was the son of the late William and Iva Hannon Bradley.
Barney was a follower of Jesus, a Unites States Army veteran, a retired City of Spartanburg fireman, and an entrepreneur as owner of Bud's Christian Tours. Barney was a long-time member of Roebuck Baptist Church and in retirement, an activity bus driver for Spartanburg School District 7.
Barney is survived by his wife of 57 years, Suzanne Bradley and his brother, Robert "Bob" Bradley. He is predeceased by his parents and his son, Brent Bradley.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC, 29307. The family will receive friends following the service. Conducting the service will be the Rev. Chuck Miller and Rev. Tim Williams. Military Honors will be given by the United States Army.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org; Shriner's Hospitals for Children at www.shrinerschildrens.org or the charity of your choice.
