Barry B. Combs

January 16, 1933 - September 21, 2025

Preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Virginia Combs; stepmother, Elsie.

Survived by wife, Athena; children, Megan Combs, Brian Combs (Leslie), Aaron Combs (Leyba), and Kathleen Ferrand (Jeff); five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brother, Mike Combs (Mary).

Barry was Director of Public Relations and Advertising at Union Pacific. As a second career, Barry was a book seller and with Athena, operated the Combs and Combs Bookstore in Rockbrook Village for many years. Barry and Athena were world travelers after retirement and particularly loved Italy.

VISITATION: Tuesday, October 7th, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at West Center Chapel, with a PRAYER SERVICE at 6:30 p.m.

INTERMENT: Wednesday, October 8th, 12 p.m., at Resurrection Cemetery, with a 12:15 p.m. Luncheon to follow at the West Center Chapel Community Room.
