Barry Crowder Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 12, 2022.
Obituary of Barry Allan Crowder
Beloved husband of Louise Murray, passed away in hospital on October 6 at the age of 64. Loving father to his cherished children Stacey (Marcus), Bradley (Kyla), stepson Joshua, and his late son Nathan (Amanda). Dear son of Irene and the late Garfield Crowder and son-in-law of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth Murray. Barry will be sadly missed by brother Doug (Maria) and sister Sandra (Claude), brothers-in-law Michael and David, sister-in-law Gyneth, son-in-law Bobby, daughters-in-law Jenn and Stephanie, grandchildren Breanna, Hailey, Kendall, Isabelle, Aubrey, Amelia, Karson, Mason, Layla, and Allison, as well as his nieces and nephews Alexandra, Alec, Evan, Madeline and Colin.
Barry's great loves were Louise, his family, his dogs Jack and Teddy, cottage life at the lake, and building or renovating things. He was happiest when he could put his handyman skills to work helping others. He leaves a big hole in our hearts but also so many wonderful memories.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital and the Ottawa General Hospital ICU who provided him such compassionate care.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, Calabogie, Ontario, on Saturday, October 29 at 12:00pm. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow in the church hall. A private family interment to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christians Horizons. Personal condolences and memories may be shared at www.colefuneralservices.com
