Barry Ells Sr

Barry Ells, 76, died September 1, 2025 at his home. Barry was born April 29, 1949 in Leavenworth, WA to Otis and Jean Ells. He attended Peshastin-Dryden High School, where he excelled in Track and Field. Barry married the love of his life, Pamela, and they were married for 55 years. They made their home in Cashmere where Barry worked for the Cashmere Mill and Tree Top until he retired. Barry spent many years coaching softball and baseball for his children and the youth of Cashmere. Many of those kids still called him coach. Barry is survived by his wife; Pamela (Wenning); children, Barry, Jr. (Cheryl), Tana (Tim) Rice, and Shawn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Barbara Floyd. A Celebration of Life is being planned for the Spring.
