Barry Wayne Hicks

Barry Hicks, 77, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born August 6, 1948, he is the son of Louise Hicks and the late Charles "Bit" Hicks. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the infantry and 82nd Air Borne division. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Mike Hickman with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. He is survived by his daughter, Gina Hicks, his mother, Louise Perry Hicks; and his brother, Lynn Hicks, all of Dyersburg. Eddie Hicks, Mike Hicks, Lynn Hicks, Keith Perry, Johnny Hicks and Jimmy Hicks will serve as pallbearers.
