Jean Gurien Ennis

Jean Gurien Ennis, 80, of Dyersburg, formerly of Tiptonville, died Friday, November 21, 2025, at her sister's residence. Born January 12, 1945, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Preston and Rosie Lee Butler Gurien. She was a hairdresser. Jean was a faithful believer in the Lord.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025, at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Visitation will be private.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Webb (Scott) of Dyersburg; her son, Tony Edgin (Janice) of Finley; four sisters, Lavon Bates of Ridgely, Peggy Markham (Ray) of Newbern, Faye Williams (Jimmy) of Gratio Community, Pat Leake of Ridgely; two brothers, Jamie Gurien (Janice) and Tommy Gurien (Sheila), both of Ridgely; one grandson, Matthew Powell (Cayley); and one great-grandson, August Powell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Ennis in 2011; two sisters, Stella Markham, Ophelia Woods; and two brothers, Larry Gurien and Jimmy Gurien.
