Barry Glen Lloyd, 63, of Manning, South Carolina, widower of Pamela Sue Coker Lloyd, the love of his life for 40 years, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 1, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026. in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd, at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner.
Barry was born July 20, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Leonard Curtis Lloyd and the late Lois Jones Lloyd. For the last five years, he worked at the South Carolina Department of Transportation. Prior to that, he worked for 25 years in the concrete business. One of his proudest accomplishments was working on the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved the outdoors.
He is survived by two daughters, Crystal Nicole Anderson (Chad) of Moncks Corner, SC, and Brittany Lynn Pingolt (Steven) of Springfield, IL; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Landon, Michael and Denam and friend, Myra Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Sue Coker Lloyd, father, Leonard Curtis Lloyd, mother, Lois Jones Lloyd, daughter, Ashley Umbert, brother, Brian Lloyd and sister, Barbara Lloyd.
