Barry N. Lorden

Barry N. Lorden, 78, longtime resident of Milford, NH died on January 16, 2022 at the V.A. Community Living Center, Manchester, NH.
He was born in Nashua, NH on May 2, 1943, a son of Leonard (Barney) and Barbara (Chandler) Lorden. Barry was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1961. He graduated from NH Business College. He worked as an accountant for Dartmouth College in Hanover.
He worked as a bartender at the VFW and American Legion.
Barry enjoyed playing softball for Milford Teams for many years.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota and Thailand and was honorably discharged in 1968 with the rank of Sergeant. Barry was a member of Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW and Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23 American Legion, Milford and Bent Burke Post#10 in Wilton.
Family members include his sister, Ellen Perham of Milford; two brothers, Terry Lorden of NYC, NY and John "Jack" Lorden of Green Mountain, NC.
There are no visiting hours. A private graveside service will be held in the spring in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Volunteer Services Community Living Center, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH 03104. Memo Line: Memory of Barry Lorden.
