Just learned this afternoon 7/21/25 of Barry's passing ... Wish I had known sooner to be there for his services ... I worked with Barry at the IRS Office of Appeals in Boston for many years ... He was one of my most respected co-workers, as well as a friend ... Barry often served as an acting Associate Chief in managing our office while I was in a similar position ... It was a great pleasure working with him, getting things done, and having enjoyable chats and interactions along the way ... I shed a tear or more today when I learned of his passing, and will always remember him for his professionalism, insight and friendship ... The Best ... God Bless His Memory ... Gene Peschier.
