Barry Moldovan

Barry Moldovan, 70, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, in Barnes Place, Latrobe. He was born April 6, 1955, in Greensburg, a son of the late Jack Moldovan and Sandra Victor Moldovan. Barry was a member of Congregation Emanu-El Israel. Upon graduation from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, with a degree in Fine Arts, he started his own garment printing business. He later obtained his teaching certificate and taught art in the Irvington School District in New Jersey. After returning to Greensburg, he was employed as an agent for United Life Insurance Company until his retirement. Barry was an avid fly fisherman and tied his own flies. He enjoyed chess, backgammon, and table games with local gaming groups. He is survived by his sister, Sheila Kassel (Barry); nephew, Joshua Kassel (Madeline); niece, Jessica Kassel (Eric Chandler); great-nephews, Finley and Callahan Kassel; and great-niece, Scotlyn Kassel.
