He is survived by brothers, Bradley J. Smith of Raleigh and Bryan J. Smith of Oxford; sisters, Beverly J. Martin of Lebanon, Oregon, and Barbara J. Fogle of New Bern; and several nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
