I´ve known Barry since we were youngsters in Poquonock school. As we grew older we became close friends. Unfortunately, he was taken from us much too soon. I will truly miss him, as I am sure will everyone, whose lives he touched. Rest in peace my friend. We will be joining you soon enough.

A few of the many hunting and fishing trips that Barry was a part of. He was always ready to be a part of any outdoor adventure. A heart of gold and a friend you could always count on. We will miss you my friend, until we cross paths again.

It was such a pleasure to volunteer and work beside Barry over the years on the WMA board. I will never meet a man more giving of his time, materials and talents. His contributions to the club and fond memories he left with me and, I´m sure, with countless other people, will linger on.

Please accept my sincere condolences on his passing

Barry was one of my very best friends. We graduated together, hunted and fished together, hiked, snowmobiled, but most of all laughed lot together. He was a fixture in both Maureen's and my life. Whether it was babysitting my daughter Erica or helping me on home projects he was always there for us. Rest in peace my friend.

Whitey was a great life long friend , as described he gave freely more , than he ever asked in return . Found humor in everything . Best trout man around , no slouch with a gun , always up for adventure . Thanks for the memories you gave my son and I , will truly miss you brother....may your reward be " endless clear shots , and very tight wet lines ".....your the Best ...fresh fish have entered the river last night.....
