Barry B. White

Barry B. White, 64, of Newington, husband of Karin (Theriault) White, passed away Sunday, (Sept. 18, 2022) at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. Born in Tom's River, NJ, he was a former New Britain resident, moving to Newington over 30 years ago. A graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School, Class of 1976, Barry was a Mechanic in several area automotive shops for many years and later worked at Dattco Bus Company for five years, retiring three years ago. He was a member of the New Britain Hunting & Fishing Club.
Besides his wife Karin, he leaves a son, Christopher White and his wife Kristi of Niantic; a daughter, Melissa Pavdi and her husband Thomas of Higganum; a brother, Robert White and his wife Ann of Terryville; a sister, Lorrie Zavarella and her husband Vincent of Newington; six grandchildren, Dylan White, Darrian, Edward, Connor, Elliot and Meadow Pavdi; two stepsons, Jack and David Kusinski; several nieces and nephews. Barry was predeceased by a brother, Norman White and two sisters, Annie White and Bonnie Wiess.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, (Sept. 24, 2022) 11 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
