Barry L. Williams of Marrero, Louisiana, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 77.
He was in a relationship with Tammy Pfister Kidwell of Marrero, Louisiana. He was the Son of the late Herbert W. William Sr. and the late Marguerite Williams. He is survived by his siblings, Trudy Benoit and Ryan J. Williams Sr. (Sonnie) and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He's also survived by his best friend and Uncle Frank Roberts. He is preceded in death by Herbert W. Williams Jr.
Barry was a proud member of the Shriners and Freemasons. He also served in the Army, where he was awarded a Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War. Barry also worked at Avondale Shipyard in the electric shop for years winding motors. He loved to ride his motorcycle and stopping at the Pit Stop to drink a few beers with good friends.
Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the services on Friday, December 12th 2025, at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco (at Westwood), Marrero, Louisiana 70072. (504) 348-2010. Visitation for the immediate family will be at 10:30 a.m. and for the public at 11:30 a.m. Mass will begin at 1:30 p.m. Following the service, Barry will be taken to his final resting place at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave, Terrytown, Louisiana 70056
