Cheryl A. Pregeant

Cheryl A. Pregeant passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Larry J. Pregeant Sr. for 53 years. Beloved mother of Rhonda Scioneaux (David) and Larry Pregeant, Jr. (Jennarra). Daughter of the late Martha and Albert Aucoin and foster daughter of the late Alice and Carrol Hertz. Sister of Kathy, Margie, Linda, Elda, Judy, Jock and Joseph and the late Carroll, Mary Lou, Francis, Calvin, Stephen, Albert Jr., Donald, Danja, and Ruby. Grandmother of David M. Scioneaux III, Raelynn S. Desadier (Zack), Hayley Townsend (Andrew), Shaelyn, and Bryce Scioneaux (Lindsey), Alexis Pregeant (Travis) and Grant Pregeant (Madison). Great grandmother of Aubrey Freeman, Liam Desadier and the future Ainslee Mae Hall. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She worked as a cosmetologist for 50 years in the Marrero area. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 1:30pm.
