Claudette McNeil Weber was born on November 24, 1938, to Mary McNeil and the late George McNeil. She lived a full and vibrant life, known for her strength, candor, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
She was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Curtis Weber, with whom she shared 68 years of faithful partnership. Together, they raised six daughters and built a legacy of love, perseverance, and family unity. As a devoted mother and matriarch, Claudette was fiercely protective and deeply nurturing. Her loved ones always knew where they stood—with her heart and her loyalty.
Claudette found great joy in caring for others. She expressed her love through her cooking, always believing that a good meal could bring comfort and connection. She was also skilled in crocheting and sewing, talents through which she created warmth and lasting memories for those around her.
Claudette was preceded in death by her father, George McNeil; her sister, Shirley Mae Parks; and her beloved great-grandchild, Mina Ann Fuller.
She is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Weber; her daughters, Jolane Lee, Doreen Kincaid, Patricia Mason, Claudia Simmons (and husband, Edwin), Curchel Smoot, and Shannah Wright (and husband, Taray); her mother, Mary McNeal; her 15 grandchildren; Ronica Scales, Maverick Henderson, Jr. (and wife, Dinah), Delisa Fuller (and husband, Kyle), Ashlee Mason-Cleary (and husband, Ben), Lauren Mason (and husband, Matt), Christopher Kincaid, Jasmyn Green, Edwin Simmons Jr., Eric Simmons, Kyra Green, Curtis Smoot, Tony Smoot, TiyE Green, Albert Green Jr., and Arye Green; her 7 great-grandchildren; Raeda Scales, Brihanna Scales, Rihanna Scales, Olivia Henderson, Eric Simmons Jr., Natalie Bystrom, and Katelyn Kincaid. Also a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by funeral services from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 3450 Highway 90 West, Avondale, Louisiana 70094.
