Gasport: Beatrice "Bea" E. Zanow, age 81 passed away August 16, 2025 at her home with her family at her side. She was born May 4, 1944 in Rochester to the late James and Muriel (Gildea) McConkey.

Bea loved spending her time quilting, crocheting, knitting and cherished moments with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband David in 2009, and brother James McConkey

Bea is survived by her children, Jennifer (Gerald) Kleinwaechter, Roger Zanow, grandchildren Nick (Mady), Kate, Case and AJ Kleinwaechter, sister Kathleen (Gary) McCabe, sister in law Gail McConkey, adopted family Randall and Melinda Hagie along with Audra Hagie, nieces and nephew Pamela McClendon, Danielle Zdanowski, Matthew McCabe, many cousins, friends and beloved pets.

Bea's family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067 on Saturday August 23rd from 10:00-12:00pm where her funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at 1:00pm where she will be laid to rest next to her husband David at Hartland Central Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bea's name may be made to the Dale Association 33 Ontario Street, Lockport, NY 14094.
