Beatrice "Bea" M. (Claubaugh) Norcross, 90, residing in Huron, passed away early Monday morning, May 30, 2022 at The Meadows at Osborn Park following a lengthy illness.
Bea was born on September 13, 1931 in Sandusky, OH to the late Thomas and Mildred (Woodford) Claubaugh.
Bea was a LPN and had worked at several local nursing homes over the years. Bea was a member of the Catawba Chapel Mothers. In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Bea is survived by her children, Deborah Kenyon of Leadville, CO, Sandra (Brent) Walden of Monroeville, Michael Norcross of Colorado Springs, CO, George Jay (Christine) Norcross of Monroeville, Christopher (Josie) Norcross of Bellfaire, WA and Rebecca Norcross of Colorado Springs, CO; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Smith of Norwalk and Mildred Mack of Cleveland; brother, Roy (Kathy) Claubaugh and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Bea is preceded in death by her husband, George Norcross; daughter, Pamela Fleeman and 3 grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton.
