Beatrice B. Craig, 82, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Born on June 5, 1943, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (August Cruche) Batista.
A graduate of Liberty High School, Bebe retired as an administrative assistant at Lehigh University. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. Bebe enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and cheering her favorite sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and her son's basketball team. She cherished her time spent at Lake Wallenpaupack, taking in the beauty of nature and creating lasting memories with family and friends. She was exceptionally close with her three sisters and their families. Above all, Bebe adored her grandchildren, finding joy in every moment spent with them.
Bebe will be dearly missed by her husband of 58 years, Joseph L. Craig; daughter, Lynne Craig; son, Douglas Craig and his wife, Sherryn; grandchildren, Cameron and Parker Craig; three sisters, Marie Kiss, Madalena Potter, and Marcia Guerreiro and her husband, Frank; sister-in-law, Rosemary Craig and her husband, Newell Woodruff; and her lifelong friend, Carol Dancs.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
