Beatrice Dedes

Beatrice Dedes, beloved wife of the late Alex Dedes passed away on June 16, 2025, at the home of her daughter Athena and son-in-law, Steve Mormino. Beatrice, born on April 17, 1930 maintained a keen interest in dancing, music, and reading throughout her 95-year lifespan. In addition, her love of cooking and especially baking Greek desserts was always a pleasure for Beatrice when enjoyed by her adult children, Helene (Dr. Philipi) Lambruschi, Athena (Mr. Steve Mormino) Cremerius, Dean Dedes, grand-children and great grand-children: Drs. Cheryl and John Gaughen (Savannah Grace 15, John Raymond, III), Dr. Laura Lambruschi and Mr. Matt Koester (Hugo 7, Noah 4), Mrs. Alexis Cremerius and Mrs. Gloria Murua (Victoria 6, Zander 6). Beatrice, to her friends, mom to her adult children and Yiya to grandchildren and great grandchildren will be missed for her warmth and the genuine delight she expressed to both family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Chris and Athena (Anastas) Dallas, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Alexander J. Dedes and her siblings Mrs. Christine Wagner and Mrs. Sophie Gutt.

A visitation will be held on Monday June, 23, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM directly at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 525 Church Rd., (off of Rt. 31), Elgin, Illinois followed with a Service to begin at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, Illinois.
