Dateline: Agua Dulce, Texas Beatrice Packard, age 90, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was born January 28, 1935 in San Diego, Texas to Adolfo and Maria (Gonzalez) Torres. She loved spending time with her family and celebrating holidays. Her passion was reading her bible and praising the Lord with her favorite hymns. She will be greatly missed. Survivors: 7 Daughters: Rachel (Joe) Herrera, Lillian Ascevedo (Late Jose Ascevedo), Alma (Late Edward Garcia), Norma (Albert) Herrera, Olga and Dalia Cavazos, and Esmeralda (Arturo) Reyna. Grandchildren: Jose (Laura) Herrera Jr., Sandra (Jorge) Vasquez, Gabriel Ascevedo, Javier (Mandy) Ascevedo, Edward Garcia, Prissy (Late Oscar Lozano), Roy & Tina Garcia, Veronica Ortiz, Luis Alberto Jr., Michael (Xiomara) Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Ramiro (Liza) Cavazos, Joseph & Ortegon, Andrea (Matthew) Widnick-Vasquez, Leonel Flores Jr., and Andrew Flores. Great-Grandchildren: Eden, Alexander, and Xavier Vasquez, Devin (Mia) Cavazos, Mariah Cavazos, Jonathon Flores, Matthew Widnick-Vasquez, Stephen Widnick-Vasquez, Zachary and Josiah Flores, Iris Lozano, Gavin and Alex Lozano, Tristan Ascevedo, Isis Ascevedo, Brianna Ortiz, R.J. (Alera) Ortiz, Brandon Ortiz, Jonathon Herrera, Robert and Joe Garcia, Jared Herrera, Arielle Johnson, Raul Ortiz III, and Sofia Herrera. The family would like to thank Berta Cavazos, our sister, and Momo Amelia for reaching out and staying with our mom at times, caring for her, and showing their love for her. Thank You So Much. We Love Ya'll. The family would also like to thank Pastor A.B. Jimenez for coming and praying for their mom. Thank you to all the Mi Casa Hospice staff and all the nurses that came to care for her; they were all heaven sent. Thank you again Pastor Jimenez.
