Beatrice Mitchell Williams

Beatrice Mitchell Williams was born September 11, 1942
daughter of the late Reverend Sandy Mitchell and Mrs. Rosetta
Philon Mitchell in Silas, AL. She transitioned this life for her
Heavenly Home on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Beatrice accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age,
and confessed her belief that Jesus died for our sins throughout
her life.
Beatrice graduated from Shady Grove High School, married
Ervin Williams, Jr. in 1962 and raised two children: Yvette and
Karhem. She was an excellent cook and loved gardening and all
types of flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Sandy Mitchel
and Mrs. Rosetta Philon Mitchell; her husband, Ervin Williams,
Jr.; two brothers: Doc Mitchell and Sandy Mitchell. Jr.; and a
grandson, Quincy Mitchell Glenn.
Beatrice leaves to cherish her legacy and precious memories, a
daughter, Wandra Yvette (Demetrius) Glenn of Birmingham, AL;
a son, Demetri Karhem (Tracey) Williams of Mobile, AL; three
brothers: John Mitchell and Robert (Virginia) Mitchell both of
Mobile, AL, and Peter Mitchell; a loving sister, Claudia M.
Stillings of Tampa, FL; a loyal sister-in-law, Judith Y. Williams of
Mobile, AL; six grandsons: Santwaune, Demetrius, Christopher,
Demetri Jr., Quinton and Brandon. She will be lovingly
remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives and friends; including a longtime friend, Bessie D Sims.
