Becky Clements Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 12, 2025.
Becky Barney Clements was born in St. Anthony, Idaho, on September 9th, 1947, to Dale and Betty Barney. She passed away on November 5th, 2025, with her daughters by her side.

When Becky was born, she joined her 3 siblings, Bill, Dick, and Judy, followed later by Starr Ann, Danny, and Donna. She grew up in various places around Idaho and later settled in St. Anthony, where she attended school and met her future husband, Terry Clements.

Becky and Terry Clements were married on July 11th, 1964, at her parents' home. Their life together took them to many places, including Idaho, Utah, California, and Montana. Becky's first job as a newlywed was wrapping gifts at JC Penney Department Store in St. Anthony. Through the years, she would later work at Scotty's Grocery, Later's Market, Fresh's Bakery, and Artco, to name a few. Then Becky and Terry moved to Forestville, California, where she worked as a CNA at a nursing home. When Terry and Becky moved back to St Anthony, she worked as a secretary at Miles Produce in Sugar City. During this time, she became certified as an EMT and began a timeless and tireless service with the Fremont County ambulance. She dedicated countless hours and resources to serving others.

During the years 1998-1999, they chose the open road, driving truck coast to coast for Edwards Brothers. After this, Terry retired, and Becky started work for Madison Memorial Hospital as a Health Unit Coordinator. She worked there until her retirement in 2016 after a heart attack forced her to slow down.

During their married life, they had 4 daughters, Lynette, Michelle, Taunya, and Heather. They have 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren who filled their lives with endless hours of joy, both at their home in St Anthony and while attending their many activities.

Their home was opened up to many friends and family, and there were no strangers at the table. Holidays were legendary, and gatherings were often, and any excuse for family, food, and fun.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Betty Barney; brothers, Bill and Dick Barney; sisters, Starr Ann Barney and Judy Cebulla; her husband of 54 years, Terry; two sons-in-law, Scott Summers and James Bergmans; and two great-granddaughters, Briauna and Shaylyn Bergeson.

She is survived by her brother Danny (Marie) Barney, sister Donna Barney, brother-in-law Tim Cebulla, and her daughters, Lynette (Kent) Hathaway, Michelle (Steven) Lusk, Taunya Hansen, and Heather (Duke) Turner.

Becky's final wishes were cremation with no services, but for those who knew her, to have a toast in her memory.

At this time, the family would like to thank Dr. Steven Lofgran and Aspen Home Health and Hospice, with special thanks to her nurse, Lauren, for taking such great care of her.
