Mrs. Becky Pace, age 68, of Covington passed away November 20, 2022. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on January 17, 1954 to Reverend Fred William and Emogene Isom Light who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Pace grew up in Surgoinsville, Tennessee and graduated from Berea College in Kentucky. She served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base. Mrs. Pace enjoyed traveling, sightseeing, going to fall festivals, singing at nursing homes, and had a love for elderly people. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Pace, and her brother Bobby Wayne Light.
Mrs. Pace is survived by her sisters Helen Catron and her husband Randall of Rogersville, TN, and Patricia Munson of Covington; her nieces and nephew Heather Munson, Amber Munson, and Freddy Catron and his wife Stephanie; her great niece Lucy Kenney; along with a longtime friend Sharon Mauk and a host of other family and close friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pace will be held at 2 o'clock Friday, November 25, 2022 at Mansfield Baptist Church with Mr. Charlie Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Newborn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service of Friday. J.C.
